Katie Fox, principal partner, is an experienced global business and marketing professional that is passionate about wine, the wine industry and passionate about promoting great California wine to the global market place!
A global marketing and business professional with over 15 years leading global marketing programs and business solutions for fortune 500 companies, Katie is fluent in Japanese language and Asian business – having resided in Japan for over 15 years and with an additional 15 years experience working with Japanese firms in Global Marketing. Katie has earned multiple certificates specializing in wine marketing and is strongly committed to strategic marketing of premium brands with a special focus and passion for exporting California wines into the Japanese market.
Education includes an Internationally focused MBA from University of Texas, BA from UC Santa Cruz and University of California Davis Wine Marketing certificate from “Office International de la Vigne et du Vin (OIV) and on-going global wine marketing training with the University of Bordeaux, wine industry MBA program seminars. Currently enrolled in the UC Davis Wine Maker Certificate program, with classes in winery and vineyard management, finance & taxation & compliance and assistant wine maker for non-commercial Santa Cruz co-op winery.
